Our fixed rooflights are non-opening and incorporate fully enclosed double-glazed units to eliminate the risk of breakage. Traditional stepped-edge flat glass roof lights have a significantly higher vulnerability to breakage due to exposed edges.
Duplus fixed flat rooflights are double glazed in clear toughened and HEATSOAKED safety glass as standard.

Fixed roof lights are easy to install and are provided as a fully assembled unit for your convenience. An integral perimeter gasket creates an air and water seal without the need for site-applied silicone.
The product is secured via screw fixing to the builders kerb externally and a matching cover clip is then applied to conceal the fixings.
We have a range of secure rooflight options available for both new build and renovation properties. For new build projects, we have Secured by Design (Part Q) available as an enhanced security variant.
Our fixed rooflights satisfy thermal performance criteria defined in the Building Regulations and achieve a high resistance to condensation under normal conditions. We can provide True U-value and Ud-values upon request.
All units are tested for weather tightness to BS EN 14351-1:2006 +A1:2010 clauses 4.2, 4.5 and 4.14 – Our test reports are available in our technical section.
As standard, the extruded aluminium perimeter frame is powder-coated RAL 7016 dark grey matt or RAL 9005 black matt. We can offer other RAL colour options upon request.
Our glazing specifications incorporate clear low ‘E’ glass as standard, achieving a center pane U-value of 1.1 W/m²K. This product is also available triple-glazed

Glass thickness is dependant on the size. As a general rule, this will be double-glazed with two panes of 6mm toughened glass. We also provide triple-glazed rooflights.
Yes. Our fixed rooflights are suitable up to a maximum roof pitch of 70 degrees (excluding sliding rooflights and roof lanterns).
The biggest fixed roof light we provide with a single length of glass is 2m x 3m.
We stock 600mm x 600mm, 750mm x 750mm, 1000mm x 1000mm, 1000mm x 1200mm and 1000mm x 1500mm. All sizes are external kerb/upstand dimensions. Lead times vary, pleace contact us for the latest update on lead times for rooflight stock items.
Our flat fixed rooflights are suitable for both flat and pitched roofs made of slate, tile, zinc or any other roof material, due to the independent upstand. You will need to create the upstand/kerb and then weather it with your roof material e.g. single-ply membrane, GRP, fibreglass etc. Our rooflight will then sit and seal against your weathered upstand. We provide you with all the fixings you need. You do not need any additional flashing kits with our fixed rooflights.
Yes, we do provide a self-cleaning option. Details are on request.
The maximum size is 2m x 3m for a fixed non-opening rooflight, which can be installed on a pitched roof.
Yes our rooflight sizes include a 10mm tolerance, so you can build the kerb to the same size as the size stated on the website.
